In this Privacy Policy, references to “we”, “us”, “our”, “Olive Capital” or “Popotam” in relation to Angelo mean Popotam SASU, acting in connection with the Angelo product.
Depending on your account and profile settings, we may collect and display: email, full name, role title, function, location, LinkedIn URL, company name, company website, WhatsApp/phone, profile picture, membership type, guild member status, guild leadership status, member since, and membership expires.
Angelo. When you purchase, implement or use Angelo, Olive Capital may also process account and authentication information, purchase and billing-related information, support and implementation communications, and technical information needed to operate and secure Angelo.
Angelo may process portfolio information entered by you or by users authorised by you, including company or startup names, investment dates, investment vehicles, stages, instruments, currencies, investment amounts, valuation information, ownership-related information, distributions, foreign-exchange information and performance-reporting data.
Please do not enter special-category personal data, confidential information about third parties, or personal data that you are not authorised to process into Angelo unless it is necessary and you have an appropriate legal basis to do so.
We use personal data to operate the member directory, authenticate users, manage membership, allow members to view and contact each other according to visibility settings, and administer the platform.
For Angelo, Popotam SASU, acting in connection with the Angelo product edited by Olive Capital, uses personal data to provide and administer the application; authenticate users; configure the initial database, user access and workspace; provide the implementation session and support; process purchases; maintain security and prevent misuse; troubleshoot technical issues; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Olive Capital does not sell Angelo portfolio data. We do not use portfolio information entered into Angelo to make investment decisions on your behalf or to provide investment, legal, tax, accounting or valuation advice.
Some profile fields are visible to other members only if you enable them in your profile settings. Admin users may view and edit member records for membership administration. Data is stored in Firebase services used by the website.
We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Storage to operate the service. This may involve processing or storing data on infrastructure operated by Google and its service providers, including outside Switzerland.
Angelo uses Firebase services provided by Google for database and user-authentication functionality. Firebase is a cloud-based application-development platform. Although the Angelo front end is intended to be accessed locally in your browser through localhost, the data required for database and authentication functionality may be transmitted to and stored through Firebase, subject to the configuration of the relevant Firebase project.
Payments for Angelo are processed through Stripe. Stripe processes payment information needed to complete the transaction, prevent fraud and meet its legal and regulatory obligations. Olive Capital does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe’s processing is also subject to its own privacy policy and terms.
We may also share limited personal data with professional advisers, hosting, communications and technical-support providers where this is reasonably necessary to provide Angelo, support users, protect the service, comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We keep data for as long as needed to manage membership and operate the directory, or as required by law. You may request deletion where applicable.
Angelo account, portfolio and support data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the application and the agreed support, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required for these purposes, we will delete or anonymise it in accordance with our retention practices, subject to any applicable legal, accounting or record-keeping requirements.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to processing of your data, subject to applicable legal limits.
To exercise rights relating specifically to Angelo personal data, contact Popotam SASU at hello@olivecapital.vc and include “Angelo privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
We use access controls, authentication, and role-based rules to help protect personal data. No online system is completely risk-free.
Angelo users are responsible for maintaining the security of the devices, browsers, credentials and networks used to access Angelo, and for reviewing user-access permissions and maintaining appropriate backups where applicable. The one-hour implementation session is intended to assist with initial configuration; it does not constitute ongoing managed hosting, continuous security monitoring or a guarantee against loss, unauthorised access or other security incidents.
Angelo is a portfolio-management and reporting application edited and made available by Olive Capital. It is not a conventional publicly hosted SaaS product: its front end is intended to run locally in the user’s browser through localhost, while Firebase provides configured database and authentication functionality.
Angelo’s reports and calculations depend on the quality, completeness and accuracy of the information entered into the application. Users are responsible for ensuring that portfolio, transaction, valuation, distribution and foreign-exchange data is accurate, complete and lawfully obtained.
Angelo is not audited accounting software and is not intended to provide audited valuations, tax reporting, legal advice, investment advice, regulatory reporting or accounting advice. Reports and calculations are provided as portfolio-management tools and should be independently reviewed where appropriate.
The Angelo purchase includes one hour of implementation support with the developer. This session is intended to assist with initial Firebase database, authentication, access-control and workspace configuration. It does not include ongoing support, bespoke development, data-entry work or continuous managed hosting unless separately agreed in writing.
